I was very late making this calendar for December, and usually I enjoy the process, ha ha... a repeat of December's line. This was late for sure, December 31, but at some point I had saved the lines from biblos(dot)com for shield, and had chosen this topic. A shield is what we all need though the symbolism is abhorrent to me in the sense that fighting is nothing I consider to be part of the "kingdom of god" scene, nevertheless it continues and we do need emotional, moral, spiritual and physical protection at times. Tthere is no better shield than the alpha-omega, the light of the world. Trek safely into this new year. |
