Cuneiform is this really wonderful early writing.  Check out the following link which has a cuneiform transator on it  HERE.   Before the time of Abraham, a marble slate with late cuneiform text was made, some of the figures of which are on this stained glass cuneiform pattern.  One of them  (lower left) appears much like the symbols for house.  I dont think cuniform mentioned in the OT.  The outer "purse" like object is actually carved into the marble, according to one source, being held by an Assyrian king.  (this particular marble piece was found at Mosul.
