Galatians 6:14 might be a good verse for this cross pattern. Although the inspiration for the pattern is the church at Shevi Zion (the mosaic pattern on one of the floors is preserved enough to see this marvelous many pointed star (like 25 or 30 points) and I have used this mosaic floor as inspiration before, this pattern is simpler, and there are other versions of it as well posted on this site.
